The Alpina Snowfield is perfect for exploring the backcountry without spending a lot of wearing larger heavier boots, they're perfect for "light backcountry" touring where the need for superior downhill control is overridden by a preference for comfort. The Rottefella NNN-BC III soles and Alpina's medium flexing midsoles combine to give the Snowfield torsional control for turning while allowing for a comfortable forward touring stride. A slightly wider last provides a forgiving wider forefoot. The speed lacing system and anatomical foot bed provide a snug and comfortable fit.
