It starts with a perforated, breathable microfiber and mesh upper that conforms to your foot, with a BOA® L6 closure dial for fast, intuitive adjustment. Then a robust Easton EC70 carbon composite outsole with replaceable heel pads is added to get the most out of your pedal stroke without sacrificing long-term durability.
Features
- The BOA L6 Fit System provides fast micro-adjustability with the turn of the dial. The combination of the dial, lace, and guides reduces weight and provides finer adjustment (1mm increments) compared to traditional buckles, and it offers an instant release function, too. BOA Fit System dials and laces are guaranteed for the lifetime of the product.
- Giro worked closely with the engineering staff at Easton® to develop proprietary outsoles that provide the most direct, powerful connection to the pedals without compromising comfort. Using advanced modeling and proprietary fixturing in their test lab, every outsole is engineered to provide ideal stiffness in three zones—Toe, Arch, and Heel—while maintaining the lowest weight and stack height (as low as 6.5mm).
