The Rift Lace is Nidecker's boot for riders that want a comfortable lace-up for park laps, snowsurfing and all-mountain riding. Traditional laces mean you can take the time to get your fit exactly how you want it. It’s that morning ritual which is as old as snowboarding itself. Their new Speed Hook lets you lock in the tension of your lower laces, then adjust the upper part independently. The design is inspired by old school sneakers and skate shoes, with modern materials and new technologies. The seamless toe construction is 3D-moulded for a perfect fit with their bindings. The upper part of the shell consists of two parts that can flex independently. This articulating cuff means you get a consistent forward flex with no pressure points. Rift Lace is really lightweight and low profile. That’s partly due to the rubber Ascent outsole. They’ve used dual density components to create cushioning under the foot and increase traction. The wavy tread pattern is inspired by the footprint of a gecko - the grippiest in nature. The new Silver liner is heat moldable, allowing you to customize the fit if you need to, and it gives great support and comfort, right out of the box. The Rift Lace is a unique boot, combining a friendly flex with their top-draw technologies like OC-Kush gel dampening, making this a killer package.

- The single-dial BOA configuration offer substantial support and a fabulous fit, within seconds, while remaining as comfortable, forgiving and easy-to-use as ever.
- Ready for anything, designed to withstand. H4 resists impact from the most demanding rider.
- An extra layer of high-density EVA supports the deep heel cup and anatomical arch, while more comfortable EVA offers more flexibility to the forefoot. A silicone top-print adds traction to the fleece-lined footbed.
- Fully redesigned, this liner is pressure-point free; closure happens via the cuff attached to the shell inner. This also makes the liner a breeze to get on and off. To prevent tongue rotation, Nidecker has added Velcro patches on both sides to keep everything in place. There's a Custom Flex Zone around the toes for wiggle room, 8mm of PE foam and added PU support around the outsides for extra stiffness.
- This rubber outsole comes with a full EVA midsole for comfort, and an OC-Kush insert to smooth out big landings or chatter. They designed a new tread with a wavelike pattern inspired by the gecko's feet for maximum grip.
