The “narrowest” Blaze (86 mm under the boot) is available in four lengths and offers an ideal combination of smooth “surfing” and light weight. As well as featuring a 3D radius sidecut, the Blaze 86 is built with a full tip-to-tail wood core. This not only trims the weight and makes the ski more lively, it also eliminates the need for plastic panels – a small but positive environmental aspect. The 86 model also comes with elasticated, rubbery suspension elements around the edges of its tip and the tail, which act like bumpers in wind-blown, unfavourable snow conditions, making the ski more settled and delivering great flotation. The Blaze series is designed for fast, short turns. But its three different radii, especially in combination with a full hybrid multi-layer wood core, mean it is suited to every riding style and can handle even the most ambitious use. The Blaze 86 is ideal for sporty all-mountain skiers who want to go off-piste, and for classic freeriders and ski tourers who are happy to put up with an extra 100 g in exchange for significantly improved performance.

- 3D Radius Sidecut – Three radii in one ski shape deliver maximum versatility - long radii at the tip and tail for stability and smoothness, and a short radius in the mid-body allows the skier to switch from long arcs to short turns at will, at any speed
- Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore – The extra-light hybrid multilayer wood core is a very complex core that is used in the Blaze. Light and very stable poplar and beech woods, individually weighed and selected by weight before gluing, are used in this wood core
- Titanal Binding Platform – A thin Titanal layer (0,3 mm) under the binding delivers the necessary strength to the ski. This way the binding screws offer reliable hold even in the toughest conditions
- Suspension Tips and Tails – Inserts made of elastic TPU material on the edges of the tip and tail which act like a bumper in wind-blown or tracked snow. Its shock-absorbing elasticity ensures better stability and catch-free float
- Full Sidewall – Direct and strong power transmission with full length sidewalls
- BASE P-TEX 2100 - A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability
- Tip & Tail Rocker – Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle
